Ambrose "Ambie" Resch Obituary

1944 ~ 2024 (age 80)

It is with great sadness that the family of Ambrose "Ambie" Resch announce his passing on Monday, October 21, 2024 at the age of 80 years.

Beloved husband of Marilyn Resch;

loving father of Susan (Bob) Olson, David (Lynne) Resch,

and Jeff (Bonnie) Resch;

cherished grandfather of Jessica (Keaton) Gomolchuck, Derrick (Shelby) Olson,

Michelle (Austin) Olson, Austin Resch, Emily Resch, Cody (Aimee) Resch, Kristina Resch and Kimberley Resch.

It is with sadness that the family of Trevor Wilson announce his sudden passing on October 19, 2024, at the age of 70. He will be sadly missed by his children Keisha Birg, Marlon Wilson, Colleen Ferguson, Jelani Wilson, Omari Wilson; grandchildren Malaya Wilson, Lucas Birg, Levi Birg, Omir Ferguson as well as other family members and friends. A celebration of Trevor’s life will be announced at a later date. The family would like to thank the staff at Providence Place for their compassion and care of our father, Trevor.

Lydia Mildred Teleglow, 84, of Steinbach formerly of St. Genevieve, passed away Saturday, October 19th at Health Sciences Centre. She is survived by 2 daughters, 1 son, 1 daughter-in-law, and their families. She was predeceased by her husband Nick, 1 son, and 1 grandson. 
The funeral service for Lydia Mildred Teleglow will be held Friday, October 25th at 10:30am at Prairie Grove Fellowship Chapel, Lorette with burial at Green Acres Cemetery, Winnipeg.

It is with great sadness that the family announces the peaceful passing of Allan Joseph Schreiner, 81 years, of Humboldt, SK, on Saturday, October 19, 2024 at Royal University Hospital with his family by his side.

Joseph Paul Vilcu, late of Weyburn, SK, formerly of Midale, SK, passed away on September 27, 2024 at the age of 68 years. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, October 29, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. from St. Vincent de Paul Roman Catholic Church, Weyburn, SK with Fr. Vint, presiding. Please join the family for luncheon at the McKenna Hall, 317 ~ 3rd Street NE, Weyburn, SK. A Private Family Interment will be held at Hillcrest Cemetery, Weyburn, SK.

Gordon James Button, late of Weyburn, SK passed away on October 19, 2024 at the age of 82 years. Cremation has taken place. No funeral service will be held at this time. For family and friends so wishing, charitable donations in memory of Gordon may be made to a charity of your choice.

Edith Kovach passed away peacefully at the Weyburn General Hospital on Wednesday, October 16, 2024 at the age of 86 years.

A Service of Remembrance will be held at the Kisbey Recreation Centre on Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Michelle Moore presiding. Lunch will follow.  Interment will take place at the Arcola Cemetery.

The Memorial Service for the late Penny Sonen of Shaunavon will be held on Saturday, October 26th at 2:00 p.m. from The Bridge Alliance Church in Shaunavon with Pastor Tyler Dueck officiating. Binkley’s Funeral Service of Shaunavon is in charge of the arrangements.
