On October 9th, 2024, we lost a son, a brother, an uncle, and a best friend. He was an amazing brother, the world's best uncle. And the most loving son and grandson. He loved his nieces and nephews more than anything in the world. He had a big heart and wanted to help everyone. He loved to joke around with everyone and could make anyone laugh. He always had a joke to tell you.

Larry James BLAYLOCK
Oct.14, 1941 - Oct. 11, 2024

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Larry James Blaylock announce his passing just shy of his 83rd birthday. After suffering from a very bad fall on October 7th, Larry was admitted to the Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg where he passed away peacefully four days later with his family by his side.

The Graveside Service for the late Marion Hack of Shaunavon will be held on Friday, October 18th at 1:00 p.m. from Hillcrest Cemetery in Shaunavon with Reverend Ken Schrag officiating. Binkley’s Funeral Service of Shaunavon is in charge of the arrangements. Funeral Date: Private family Graveside service 
George Wiens, 80, of Roseau River passed away Sunday, October 13th at De Salaberry District Health Centre, St Pierre-Jolys. He is survived by 1 daughter, 2 sons and their families. He was predeceased by his wife Margaret Rose in 2011. 
A private family graveside service for George Wiens will be held. Viewing will be at Birchwood Funeral Chapel Wednesday, October 16th from 7 to 9pm.
Donations may be made to Cerebral Palsy Association of Manitoba. 

Funeral For: Helen Neufeld 
Funeral Date: October 16, 2024 
Helen Neufeld, 94, of Winnipeg formerly of Crystal City passed away Tuesday, October 8th at Kildonan Personal Care Centre. She is survived by 5 children and their families. She was predeceased by her husband George Neufeld. 
The funeral service for Helen Neufeld will be held Wednesday, 11am at Friends Funeral Service, 2146 Main Street, Winnipeg with burial at Crystal City Cemetery on Friday, October 18th at 11am. 
Viewing will be at Friends Funeral Service prior to the service. 

It is with sadness the family of Faye Sylvestre announces her passing on October 11, 2024, at the age of 81. She was predeceased by her parents and daughter Penny. Faye will be missed by her children Cheryl Sylvestre, Ronald Sylvestre, Donna White, Calvin Sylvestre, and Robert Sylvestre; four grandchildren, one great-grandchild and siblings Jim Holkestead and Penny Holkestead.

Thelma E. Loeffler (Turton)
1940 – 2024

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Thelma Loeffler, late of Manor, SK on Saturday, September 14, 2024.

SWANSON 

Melvin Sander Swanson aged 86 years of Central Butte, SK, passed away on Wednesday, October 9th, 2024, at Regency Manor.  Melvin was born in Hume, SK on August 28th, 1938, to parents, Edwin and Lena Swanson; and married Ann Currie on November 15th, 1966.   

Melvin worked various jobs, including as a farm hand, grader operator, mechanic at CCIL and Berg Farm Equipment, before farming and owning a garage with his best friend, Larry Small.  Due to his failing health, he retired in 2008 and moved into Regency Manor in 2014. 

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Alana Lillian Colette Lowey. Born at RUH hospital in Saskatoon on September 2nd 2005. Alana passed away September 25th 2024 after being struck by a car.
