Leonard Len Peter Wiebe, 70, of Steinbach formerly of Grunthal, passed away Friday, October 4th at Steinbach. He is survived by 2 sons and their families. He was predeceased by his wife Kathie.  
A celebration of life for Leonard Len Peter Wiebe will be held Tuesday, October 15th at 1pm at Crossview Church, Steinbach.

Elizabeth Warkentin, 98, of Pilot Mound passed away Wednesday, October 2nd at Prairie View Lodge Personal Care Home. She is survived by 1 brother and sister-in-law, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 1 sister, 1 brother, 2 half-siblings, and 1 sister-in-law. 
The funeral service for Elizabeth Warkentin will be held Thursday, October 10th at 2pm at Wheatland Funeral Chapel, Pilot Mound with burial at Crystal City Cemetery. 
Viewing will be at the chapel prior to the service. 

Funeral For:  Eva Kehler 
Funeral Date: October 12, 2024 
Eva Kehler, 85, of Steinbach passed away Friday, October 4th at Resthaven Nursing Home. She is survived by 2 daughters, 4 sons, and their families. She was predeceased by her 1st husband Peter Kehler and her 2nd husband Neil Peters. 
The funeral service for Eva Kehler will be held Saturday, October 12th at 2pm at Birchwood Funeral Chapel with burial at Heritage Cemetery. 
Viewing will be at the chapel prior to the service. 
Donations may be made to Resthaven Nursing Home.  

The Memorial Service will be held on Friday, October 11, 2024, at 1:30 PM from the Church of the Open Bible, Swift Current, SK with lunch immediately to follow.

The Interment Service will be held on Friday, October 11, 2024, at 10:30 AM at the Rhineland Fellowship Church Cemetery, Rhineland, SK.

The Visitation will take place on Thursday, October 10, 2024, from 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM at the Swift Current Funeral Home. 

In memory of William Braun, donations can be made to the MCC and the Open Bible Missions would be appreciated by the family.

WILLIAM GORDON SEMAN

October 9th, 1929 - October 2nd, 2024

It is with heavy hearts that the family of William (Bill or Willie) Seman announce his passing on Wednesday, October 2nd, 2024, just one week prior to his 95th birthday. 

Bill was the youngest of four children born to Andrew and Anne Seman and was raised on his parents’ farm near Boharm, SK.  His education was obtained at McRoberts School close to the farm.  He experienced the dirty thirties and all the difficulties that farmers face. 

Murray Douglas Patterson aged 70 years of Moose Jaw, SK, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 3rd, 2024, surrounded by family. 

Murray was born August 8th, 1954, in Moose Jaw to Harold and Reta Patterson.  He never left Moose Jaw as it was the only place he wanted to be.  In 1972, Murray married Marge Spendlow and in 1973, they welcome their first child, Mike, followed by their daughter, Darla in 1975. 

The Celebration of Life Service for Mr. Darcy Smith will take place on Tuesday, October 15, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Parkside Memorial Funeral Home.

BAKKEN, MARY DOROTHY ANNE late of Weyburn, Saskatchewan, born October 13, 1931, passed away October 3, 2024 at the age of 92 years. At the request of Mary, a Private Family Service & Interment has taken place at Green Acres Memorial Gardens, Weyburn, Saskatchewan. On Sunday, September 29,2024 Corliss Jane MacKay earned her heavenly wings. Corliss is survived by her daughter Reanna (James Kwasny) grandchildren Chloe and Adam Kwasny and son Delno Abrahamson. Sisters Heather (Randi) Ellis, Della (Greg) Moffat and Flora (Rick) Stahl. She is also survived numerous nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her parents Roderick (Rod) and Elizabeth (Betty) MacKay and nephew Tyson Stahl.

At Corliss’ request there will not be a funeral service.
