It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ron Lasson on October 28, 2024, at the Portage Hospital at the age of 44 years.
Ron will be lovingly missed by his parents Ernie Lasson and Adrienne Lasson (Gilbert Allec), sister Shelley Lake (Dana Kulba), nephew Zachery Lake, and nieces Shianne Lake and Tristen Kulba. Ron also leaves to mourn his uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Shirley Anne Pohl (née: Bowen) announce her passing on Friday, October 25th, 2024, with her family by her side. Shirley was born July 7th, 1944, to Harlan and Mary Bowen (née: Boyce) in Regina, Saskatchewan. On October 10th, 1945, she welcomed her brother Gordon Wayne Bowen.

Brent passed away on October 29th, 2024, after a short, courageous battle with brain cancer.
Brent played all sports growing up, but especially loved hockey and baseball. He watched every sport on TV avidly and was always a Warrior and Roughrider fan. He could always be found getting the family pool ready for his nieces and nephews to swim and have fun. Brent lost his dog Taco, who was a big part of his life.

It is with deep sorrow and hearts full of happy memories that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved Mother, Hazel Margaret Reichert on October 30, 2024, at the age of 101 years.
Born on January 27, 1923, in the Ardill Saskatchewan District. Hazel was the sixth of nine children.
Hazel’s life was characterized by her deep love of her family, close relationships with friends, teaching and a zeal and an interest in learning, world events, sports, especially CURLING, and playing bridge. She often marvelled of the many changes she had witnessed in her 101 years.
Robert Gordon Huston
Robert “Bob” Gordon Huston aged 69 years of Moose Jaw, SK, passed away on Sunday, October 27th, 2024, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Bob was born in Calgary, AB on April 20th, 1955. He worked mostly in Western Canada as a drywaller and master plasterer. He enjoyed doing carpentry work and did wonderful work for local people.
Dorothy Viola Wiebe
Dorothy Viola Wiebe (nee Schmidt), age 77 of Swift Current, SK passed away on October 25, 2024 surrounded by her loved ones.
She was born on October 31, 1946 to Jacob B. and Marie Schmitt. She was the youngest of eight children. At the age of 14 years old, she met the love of her life, Pete K. Wiebe. They wed in March 1964 and had their son Rodney the same year. Four-and-a-half years later they welcomed their daughter Debbie.

Yvonne Georgette DeBruyne, late of Radville, SK, passed away on October 28, 2024 at the age of 102 years and 6 months. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. from the Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, Radville, SK with celebrant Father Okafor. Interment will be held at the Laurier Cemetery, Radville, SK with luncheon to follow at the Holy Family Roman Catholic Church Hall, Radville, SK.

Peter Wesley Nikkel, 83, of White Rock, BC formerly of Elm Creek and Winnipeg, passed away Saturday, October 19th at White Rock Hospice Centre. He is survived by his wife Diane, 1 daughter, 2 sons, and their families. He was predeceased by his son David Wesley.
A memorial service for Peter Wesley Nikkel will be held Monday, November 4th at 1pm at Peace Portal Alliance Church in South Surrey, BC.
