Members of the 2SLGBTQ+ community and allies gathered at the K.R. Barkman Park for the annual Steinbach Pride March. 

Many joined with friends and family, others met new friends to share their stories and learn more about one another.

Sunshine and Smiles: Saint-Jean Baptiste Days kick-off in La Broquerie

The weather was perfect for the kick-off to Saint-Jean Baptiste Days in La Broquerie, warm with a light breeze and a bit of cloud cover. 

There was food, music and fun for the whole family. 

Andre Carrier organized the baseball tournament, and he says it’s always an important part of the weekend. 

Softball, pancakes, and Pride: What’s happening this weekend

Summer is kicking off with a busy weekend in the southeast and we will be attending four events!  

Friday, June 21 – Eastman Softball Tournament  

The Southeast Girls Softball League is hosting their Year End Jamboree tournament in Mitchell this weekend. Girls from levels U9 to U15 will be playing each other to see who’s the best of the southeast.  

The first game will be at 5:30 on Friday evening.

Events you can attend this weekend including Summer in the City

It is officially the weekend we have all been waiting for – Summer in the City 

We will be on Main Street handing out Wendy’s coupons and capturing the beauty of SITC all weekend.  

There are so many activities all weekend long including rides from Wonder Shows Midway, Cultures in the City, Kids in the City, Artists in the City, Sports in the City, Patio Party, live music at Mainstage, and so much more! 

Southeast Truck Show raises money to support local charities

The annual Southeast Truck Show fundraiser was held this weekend, and they had a great turnout. 

Truck enthusiasts gathered to talk about their trucks, and families joined in on the fun to help support local charities.
