Music, rides, games, and food: Niverville Fair in photos

The annual Niverville Olde Tyme Country Fair is happening this weekend and there’s lots going on. Activities the whole family can enjoy!

Wonder Shows Midway is a hit for all and rides will be open till 12am both Friday and Saturday night.  

Bring the kids down to check out Kids Zone. They have face painting, a climbing wall, a petting zoo, magic shows, and so much more! 

Talented artists, bands, and dancers took the stage to entertain all evening. Fans cheered on the motocross riders!

Students show off their skills at HSD track and field

The annual Barb Cheop track meet was held at Stonybrook Middle School in Steinbach on June 6. 

Many schools from the Hanover Division gather to participate in the track and field event.  

Students from Steinbach Regional Secondary School (SRSS) were recruited to help throughout the day by measuring throws, timing races, and help direct students to their events. 

Hanover Ag presents annual Spring Twist Off event

From barrel racing and bull riding to lemonade and cheeseburgers, Hanover Ag’s ‘Spring Twist Off’ was a hit for those who came out to enjoy. 

It was a beautiful evening to be outside and what better way to spend it than with family and friends watching some bull riding.

Community shows support and raises awareness for those affected by dementia

The Walk for Alzheimer’s was held on Wednesday, May 29, and was the first walk since before Covid.  

The walk began at AD Penner Park in Steinbach and was approximately 4 kilometers long with a water break halfway. Snacks and juice were provided after.
