Jean Harkness, Centenarian (nee Thompson)

Peacefully, on February 11, 2025, Jean Harkness passed away at the Lions Prairie Manor at the age of 100 years.

Predeceased by her beloved husband Glenn; son Grant; daughters-in-law Gillian and Beth; brothers Ross and Stephan Thompson; sister Norman McLaughlan, sisters-in-law Annie Thompson and Evelyn Thompson and brother-in-law Norman McLauchlan.

Ken was born January 13th, 1952 in Portage la Prairie, and passed away on February 11, 2025 in Portage la Prairie at the age of 73 years.

Arnold “Bruce” Tooth

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our husband, father and poppa, Bruce Tooth and we celebrate a life well lived. He will leave a large hole in our hearts. 

Mary Rzepa (nee Gordichuk)
1927 – 2025

Peacefully with family by her side, Mary Rzepa passed away at the Portage District General Hospital on January 28, 2025, two days after her 98th birthday.

She is survived by her son John with grandchildren Cole Rzepa and Randi Lynds; daughter Frances (Pe-ter Hochbaum) with grandchildren Scott Klassen (Jenny) and Jazmine Klassen (Jeremy Whitford); great grandchildren Jamie, McKenna, Leo, Olivia, and Sigrid; sister Margaret Clark, brother George Gordichuk, and many nieces and nephews.

Pamela Mary Swaine (nee Taylor)

With heavy hearts we announce Pamela Swaine passed away on Sunday, December 8, 2024, at Lions Prairie Manor at the age of 96 years.

Ferris Waind MacDonald passed away on January 13, 2025 at the age of 85.

With great sadness and heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved mother and grandmother Irene Yacucha on January 10, 2025 at the Lions Prairie Manor with family by her side at the age of 95 years.

Mom will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her children: Gail, Dallas, Shaun (Kevin) and Dean (Paula); grandchildren Cole, Taylor, Stephen and Emily; along with relatives and friends. Irene was predeceased by her husband Steve in 1970.

Leanne Coleman-Kamphuis

We grieve the loss of our wife and mother, Leanne Coleman-Kamphuis. On December 29, 2024 at home in Portage la Prairie, Leanne passed away at the age of 62 years.

Left to mourn are her husband Robert, daughter MaryBeth (Nicholas), grandchildren Malakai and Blake, father Greg Sr., siblings Greg Jr. (Lisa), Johngary (Elizabeth), Rhyan (Danielle), Grahame (Angela) and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
Leanne is predeceased by her mother Patricia Coleman, sister Mary Beth, and son Nathaniel.

Linda Caddoo (nee Ball) May 13, 1949 – December 27, 2024

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Linda Margaret Caddoo, of Lakeland, Manitoba on December 27, 2024, at the age of 75 years.
Linda was born on May 13, 1949, to Helen and Charles Ball in Carman Memorial Hospital. Linda attended Carman Collegiate, after graduating she worked as a secretary for a Public Press, until she married Norman Caddoo of Lakeland, Manitoba on the 4th of July in the year of 1970.

Florence “Marlene” Kowall (nee McIvor)

After a short illness, Florence “Marlene” Kowall passed away on the morning of December 25, 2024 at Riverview Health Center in Winnipeg at the age of 80 years.
