The funding includes support for 27 projects in Manitoba, 35 in Saskatchewan, and 33 projects in Alberta.

Led By Grace

Genesis 50:1-21

"Am I in God's place?" Joseph asked them. Had he been a lesser man, he could have played "king of the mountain" and filled the role of God. "Grace killers" do that sort of thing. They exploit the power they have over others. They play a cruel and unfair game when they have someone cornered, someone who is vulnerable and at their mercy.

Pastor forgives man after he crashes box truck into church building

A church in North Carolina is picking up the pieces after a half-tonne truck smashed into their building over the weekend.

Although no one was injured, the church building sustained significant damage.

Rev. Bienvenido Alegria, pastor of Iglesia Pentecostal Unida Hispana, lives right around the corner from the church. He heard the commotion and immediately ran outside to see what was happening.

When he arrived, he saw that a box truck had slammed into the wall of their building, leaving a gaping hole.

Verse of the day: March 7

Psalm 139: 23-24

"Search me, God, and know my heart;
    test me and know my anxious thoughts.
See if there is any offensive way in me,
    and lead me in the way everlasting."

Saskatchewan's Court of Appeal reviews thumbs-up emoji case

Saskatchewan’s Court of Appeal has reserved its decision in a case that found a thumbs-up emoji to be legally binding.

It's an interesting case that has attracted a lot of interest and a lot of discussion.

The case stems from a text conversation between South West Terminal and Achter Land & Cattle Ltd over a flax contract that was not fulfilled.

In March of 2021,  a grain buyer with SWT sent a text to one of the owners Chris Achter saying that the company was looking to buy 86 tonnes of flax for $17 per bushel to be delivered in the fall.
