The Canadian government has updated its travel advisory for the United Kingdom amid a rash of ongoing demonstrations.
It says visitors should "exercise a high degree of caution" in the country and takes note of demonstrations and violent clashes between protesters and police over the past week.
The travel advice cautions that even peaceful demonstrations can turn violent at any time and can deteriorate quickly.
3 people dead, 5 injured following two serious collisions on Highway 6
Mounties are investigating following a pair of serious crashes Monday that claimed the lives of three people and injured five others.
The first collision, involving an SUV and minivan operating as a Handi-Van, happened around 3:45 p.m. on Highway 6, about 40 kilometres south of Grand Rapids.
RCMP say the SUV crossed the centre line, colliding head-on with the minivan.

The Toronto teenager who won four medals at the Paris Games, including three golds and a silver, says it would be "an honour" to carry the flag for Canada.
McIntosh says that having returned home, she wants to take a break from swimming and plans to relax at her cottage with friends before likely coming back to Toronto to do some shopping.
But she is not ruling out a quick turnaround to Paris.
Teen charged in 2 separate stabbings
Two people were injured in separate "unprovoked" stabbing attacks in Winnipeg on Friday morning.
The Winnipeg Police Service says in a press release that the first incident occurred around 10:15 a.m. on the 400 block of King Street, where a 50-year-old man was approached and stabbed in the upper body. The suspect fled the scene, and the victim was taken to the hospital in stable condition.
Winnipeg man faces charges after carjacking elderly woman and weekend of violence
A 40-year-old man is in police custody and an elderly woman is recovering from serious injuries following a series of robberies and assaults in Winnipeg over the weekend.
The WPS says in a press release that the first incident took place on August 3, 2024, at approximately 12:30 p.m., when the suspect entered a commercial business in the 1000 block of Nairn Avenue. He threatened a cashier with a lighter and demanded money before fleeing empty-handed.
Winnipeg Humane Society reaches critical capacity after 130 dogs brought into care
The Winnipeg Humane Society has reached critical capacity after more than 130 dogs were recently brought into their care.
This large removal was conducted by the Office of the Provincial Veterinarian -Animal Welfare north of Winnipeg on Aug. 1 and is currently under investigation.
According to a spokesperson for the province, the animals were living in unsanitary conditions, and many needed medical attention.
The shelter has now reached 611 animals in care. Of those, 281 are in the WHS, and 330 are in foster care or partner boarding or vet facilities.

Cyclist dead after colliding with parked semi, Winnipeg police investigate
The Winnipeg Police Service is investigating a crash that claimed the life of a 67-year-old cyclist.
The crash happened last Friday, shortly before 2:30 p.m. on Kenaston Boulevard near Waverley Street.
Police say the male cyclist was travelling at a high rate of speed when he collided with the rear of a semi-truck trailer parked with hazard lights on, on the northbound shoulder of Kenaston Boulevard, south of Waverley Street.
The man was rushed to hosptial in critical condition, where he later died of his injuries.
