Andrew John Stewart

1965-2023

Andrew Stewart passed away at the Health Sciences Centre Intensive Care Unit on June 2nd, 2023 as a result of a car crash on April 25th, 2023.

He is survived by his companion of 38 years, Laurie Matthews and his brother Edward. He was predeceased by his parents, Allan and Joan Stewart.

Gladys passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 7th, 2023 at Brandon Regional Health Centre in Brandon MB.

Gladys was born on September 28th, 1931 in Selkirk MB and was raised for the first twelve years of her life at Libau, Manitoba. She was the 6th of seven children (Reg, Lizzy, Grace, Russell, Hazel, Mel) born to Victor and Daisy (McLean) Bruce, all of whom have predeceased her.

With sad and heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our mom, Betty Thomas at Saint Boniface Hospital on Wednesday May 17th, 2023.

Left to mourn mom's passing are three daughters Bev (Bill) Roy, Brenda (Loius) Bisson, Toots (Tim) Briggs. Four grandchildren, Ashleigh (Brodie), Troy, Brady (Baillie) and Valerie.

Mom was also fortunate to have four great grandchildren, Brooke, Aidan, Matthew, and Maverick.

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of our dear mother, Ruth Klyne (nee Jackson). Beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.

Ruth was predeceased by her parents Vernon and Patricia Jackson, sisters Marion, Eileen, brother Fred, husband Leonard Klyne, daughter Michelle, son Lenny, son-in-law, Shane Donley and granddaughter Paige.

A Celebration of Life for Carole will take place on Thursday, May 25th, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Stride Place on Island Park, Portage la Prairie, in the Rotary Multi-Purpose Room. All are welcome to attend. 

A private family interment will take place prior to the service at the Oakville Cemetery.
