The duo looks forward to turning their studio into a place where art meets heart and community. The artists are offering ribbon tattoos for one hundred dollars each with all proceeds going directly to Candlelighters.
Song Catchers returns to Herman Prior Activity Centre
The Herman Prior Activity Centre has wrapped up a successful summer and is heading into a full fall schedule. Executive director Kathy Bryce says the centre’s annual car hop fundraiser drew record numbers.
“It was a very busy summer. Our carhop went over extremely well. I think it's probably the best one we've ever had. We've had 317 people come through to buy a hamburger or a hot dog. So, great fundraiser for the Herman Prior,” notes Bryce.
Manitoba Health Minister visits Niverville as clinic expansion nears completion

Another man has been arrested in connection with a human smuggling operation that saw a migrant family freeze to death on the Canada-U.S. border near Emerson, Man.
Fenil Patel was arrested Sept. 5 on an extradition request from the United States, the Justice Department in Ottawa said Tuesday. The 37-year-old faces a hearing this week in Ontario Superior Court.
Community Clean Up Day on Saturday
Moose Jaw residents are invited to take part in the city’s second Community Clean Up Day of the year, happening Saturday, September 20, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
