UPDATE: RCMP make arrests after locating truck involved in armed robbery

After multiple evasions from police this week, the stolen grey F-350 has been located and the three occupants were arrested without incident.
Just before midnight the Battlefords RCMP’s Gang Task Force located the grey F-350 Super Duty in the City of North Battleford.
Saskatchewan RCMP thanked the media and public for their assistance with this investigation and noted that ongoing updates including potential charges will be provided when available.
Tick season here once again in West Central
As we transition to the warmer weather that comes with the spring season, many insects will be making their return, and that includes ticks; a bother for both humans and their pets.
Ticks are typically out from early spring until October, and can be found in tall grass, brush or wooded areas. While the risk of contracting Lyme disease from ticks is low in Saskatchewan, there is still a chance of getting bitten by a wayward bug.
Thankfully, there are some easy ways to keep ticks off of you.

Customers will have to wait a little longer to get power south of Kindersley. The estimated time for the power to be restored has been now pushed back to 4:00 PM. West Central Online will have more on the story as it develops.

Power restored once again after recent outages

The lights seem to be back on after another widespread outage this morning.
After another spat of power outages hit the region this morning, at 5:35 AM the SaskPower Outage Updates page showed around 16 different alerts for around West Central Saskatchewan all concerning another loss of power.
UPDATE: Driving conditions continue to vary in West Central

Wet subject to freezing roads, along with already existing icy sections are present around West Central highways this morning.
The Kindersley region was still reporting seasonal as of this morning, but now the entire region is looking at winter driving conditions as of 7:00 AM.
A good amount of ice was originally being reported all the way to Saskatoon, and travel is not recommended in more places headed east.
UPDATE: Roads improving in West Central, but still not good in some areas
UPDATE: 12:00 PM Saturday, April 8
Highways in the West Central area are getting better, but there are still some areas where they remain not good. This includes Highway 4 north of Biggar, and Highway 15 between Kenaston and Outlook.
However, Highway 7 between Kindersley and Rosetown have improved.

Abandoned and suspicious vehicles in latest report from Rosetown RCMP
The latest Rosetown RCMP Report is in from March 3rd to the 9th.
On the cool evening March 3rd, Rosetown police received multiple calls, one being from a citizen requesting a well-being check. Shortly after on the same night, the Rosetown RCMP were called and received a complaint about mischief within the town. The matter is currently under investigation. Along with this call and early the same morning there was also a concern with a business claiming a disturbance of peace.
Rosetown resident raising money for great cause
Tara Leith is an Educational Assistant at Walter Aseltine School in Rosetown. She has been working with Nathan Falk for about three years now, and due to his condition, he is in need of a wheelchair accessible van.
