Meet Shelby
Shelby is a 13 year old female shepherd mix.
She is spayed and will be vaccinated to be updated asap.
She enjoys long naps, quiet days, humans, and possibly a dog friend matched appropriately. Cats may want to say hi to her, but she has not experienced cat interactions so u tested.
She does have some joint swelling and we will be making sure she starts on some vitamins and supplements asap.

Chloe is a cutie!
Chloe is a year old, Kangal/Bully/St Bernard mix. She absolutely loves dogs, does great with cats, super sweet with humans. She has had a hard start to life and not always a safe environment, so she needs a family to keep her safe, secure, loving and supportive.
What does she need; Chloe can be on the suspicious side of new people who approach fast and handy in her face, we are building confidence with people approaching.
She is to be spayed soon. Vaccines up to date.

She is a sweet girl, who is 9.5 weeks old.
Lab mix- mom was a lab mix (Sugar) and who knows who dad is but it your looking for a sweet girl, who is easy to train, smart and easy going, this is her!
She is crate trained, learning leash work, goes outside for bathroom breaks, sleeps almost all night already!

Quinn is a 9.5 week old total heartbreaker! He is a lab mix (mom was Sugar lab mix- who knows who dad was)
This boy is soft, good natured, playful and ready to steal your heart!
He is doing great with house manners, crate trained, and sleeps almost all night! Learning leash work.

Egypt came to the shelter with her sister Trinity, and at first, she was scared of everything.
“You couldn’t even pet her,” says Robyn Roy, communications coordinator with the Humane Society. “She was so afraid.”

Ka-chow! Lightning McQueen is zooming into hearts at Adorable Adoptables.
This inquisitive pup is full of energy and curiosity, always eager to learn and explore.
With the support of his patient foster team, Lightning is learning how to navigate life’s curves.
He does best in calm, respectful homes with adults or older children aged 10 and up.
Adorable Adoptables: Puck’s looking to score a forever home
This week’s Adorable Adoptable is Puck, a shy sweetheart with a heart full of potential and a tail that’s learning to wag a little more each day.
When Puck first arrived at the shelter, the hustle and bustle left him feeling lost and unsure.
“He was really a scared little guy,” says Robyn Roy, communications co-ordinator with the Cochrane & Area Humane Society.

This week’s featured Adorable Adoptable is Max, a sweet senior currently in the care of the Cochrane and Area Humane Society.
"He's one of our longer term residents and he's about 7 1/2 years old," says Robyn Roy, communications coordinator with the Humane Society.
"But don't let his age fool you. He is a sweet boy with still lots of energy."
"He does have some special dietary needs and we're always happy to discuss that," says Robyn.
