Edward Adam Silzer aged 88 years of Moose Jaw, SK, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 22nd, 2024, with family by his side.  Ed was born January 31st, 1936, to Charlie and Elsie Silzer in his family farm home in Lakenheath district in southern Saskatchewan.  He was raised in a blended family of 16.  Ed worked in the plumbing industry for 60+ years, with various other jobs along the way.

Patricia Mary Reid

Patricia Mary Reid aged 78 years of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 16th, 2024, at Providence Place with her family by her side. 

Patricia was born on April 7th, 1946, in Regina Saskatchewan to John and Anna MacDonald.  She was the youngest of 5 siblings.  Growing up in Regina she was an active child who loved animals, horseback riding, and ice skating with friends in the winter.

GEORGE “MIKE” BARTON

1933 – 2024

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of George "Mike" Allan Barton, who passed away peacefully at Pioneer Lodge in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, at the age of 90 years.  The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to the staff at Pioneer Lodge for the compassionate care Mike received during his time there.

Gordon Richard Cooke

On Thursday, October 10th, 2024, Gordon Richard Cooke passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, after a difficult battle with Multi System Atrophy (MSA). 

Predeceased by his parents, Gordon is survived by his wife, Liana; their three children; as well as many extended family members and friends.  An avid lover of sports, specifically the Winnipeg Jets and the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, we are sure he is up there watching them play and cheering them on.

Dena Marie Ries (née: DesRoches), a loving and caring wife, mother, grandma, sister, aunt, great-grandmother and friend, has passed away at the age of 80 years, on Friday, October 11th, 2024. 

Ryan Ronald Roger Korbo

On October 9th, 2024, we lost a son, a brother, an uncle, and a best friend. He was an amazing brother, the world's best uncle. And the most loving son and grandson. He loved his nieces and nephews more than anything in the world. He had a big heart and wanted to help everyone. He loved to joke around with everyone and could make anyone laugh. He always had a joke to tell you.

Melvin Sander Swanson

SWANSON 

Melvin Sander Swanson aged 86 years of Central Butte, SK, passed away on Wednesday, October 9th, 2024, at Regency Manor.  Melvin was born in Hume, SK on August 28th, 1938, to parents, Edwin and Lena Swanson; and married Ann Currie on November 15th, 1966.   

Melvin worked various jobs, including as a farm hand, grader operator, mechanic at CCIL and Berg Farm Equipment, before farming and owning a garage with his best friend, Larry Small.  Due to his failing health, he retired in 2008 and moved into Regency Manor in 2014.
