Dawgs down Bombers, one win from division final
The Okotoks Dawgs are one win away from advancing to the WCBL West Division final after an 11-4 victory over the Brooks Bombers tonight in Game 1 of their semifinal series.
The defending champions came out swinging, building a 6-0 lead before Brooks got on the board with three runs in the fifth. But the Dawgs held firm, tacking on more runs and keeping their title defence on course.

Okotoks Dawgs enter WCBL playoffs as the favourites
The Western Canadian Baseball League’s 2025 regular season has wrapped, and the Okotoks Dawgs are once again entering the playoffs as the team to beat in tonight's opening game of the semifinals.
The Dawgs posted their fourth straight 40-win season to finish atop the West Division and secure home-field advantage through at least the first two rounds. They’ll be joined in the West by the Sylvan Lake Gulls, Lethbridge Bulls, and Brooks Bombers.
Royals Lead the Way in SSBL regular season rankings
The Saskatoon Senior Baseball League (SSBL) announced the league leaders for the 2025 regular season, with the Marysburg Royals well represented.
It was a clean Royals sweep for the leaders in batting average, with Cole Bauml finishing on top with .516 average, followed by Nick Anderson at .500 and Tom Hooker with a .478 average.
