Helen Ruth (nee Nahorney) Humenny was born January 1, 1942 near Boyle, Alberta and passed peacefully November 25, 2024, ending her long struggle with Parkinson’s.

She was a true lover of the outdoors with a passion for gardening, creating beautiful flowerbeds and caring for her farmyard. She enjoyed traveling and had a deep heart for missions, participating in several mission trips over the years. Above all, her family was her greatest joy, and her unwavering love will always be remembered.

The family of Darin Monz, 58 years, of Humboldt sadly announce his passing on Friday, November 15, 2024. Darin Eugene Monz was born on February 20, 1966, to William “Bill” and Majorie Monz at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Humboldt. He attended St. Augustine and St. Dominic Schools as well as Humboldt Collegiate Institute. As a child, Darin was described as having sparkling brown eyes, a mischievous demeanour along with being easily loveable. This continued to be true until the day of his passing.

Trevor Hale

Trevor James Hale died unexpectedly Saturday November 16, 2024.

He was raised on the family farm North of Plunkett. He attended Plunkett School for his elementary education and high school in Viscount. Following graduation Trevor entered the Pre-employment Welding Program at Kelsey. His early career started at Atlas Industries followed by Inter-City Mechanical. For the last eighteen years Trevor was employed with Nutrien at their Cory Division.
