The sudden and unexpected death of Walter Patrick Monz, 71 years of Bruno, occurred at his residence on Monday, April 29, 2024.
Walter was born on January 7, 1953, to Fredrick and Olga (nee Kalinski) Monz, he was the third youngest of 13 children. He was born very premature and was kept on a shelf above the oven in a shoe box to keep warm.
After obtaining a grade seven education Walter had to stay home and help on the family farm.

Mom was a partner in every sense of the word with her husband, Joe, as they worked & raised their family on their farm southwest of Dodsland where they lived from 1958, until their retirement

Delmer Carl, a younger brother, and a twin born in 1934 to Carl and Ottilie from Bruno, SK. He lived and was happily married to Linda from Pilger, Sk. Delmer was self-employed as a Farm Machinery Assembler much of his life. In Retirement Delmer enjoyed helping Linda with the gardens and going out for some long drives in the countryside; just looking how the crops are progressing. In the later years Delmer enjoyed the pleasant walks and company of his two favorite dogs in Pilger.
