Over $1,110 raised at third Taste of Summer Charity BBQ
Hundreds of Moose Javians stopped by the radio station today for our third Taste of Summer Charity BBQ, presented by Fountain Tire.
Several team members from Civic Centre Dental and the Moose Jaw Music Festival were on hand, serving lunch featuring a hot dog or hamburger with chips and water. In total, $1,147.85 was raised for the Moose Jaw Music Festival.
Join us on Wednesday, August 13, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. for our next Taste of Summer Charity BBQ, which will benefit Joe's Place Youth Centre.

Hazlet Summer Market and Show n' Shine set to take over Main Street
The Village of Hazlet is extending an invitation to this month's market on Main Street.
Lindsay Alliban, the economic development officer for the Village of Hazlet, has been working to help get the green space ready, and hopes people can come out on Thursday to enjoy local vendors, refreshments, and the show and shine they have planned.
"We invite any vintage car, truck, or race car owners to bring out their ride to join us anytime between 4 and 7 p.m.," said Alliban.
Blast from the past: Heritage Threshing Days return to Midale
The Souris Valley Antique Association (SVAA) is preparing for the 59th Annual Heritage Threshing Days in Midale, taking place this long weekend.
President of the SVAA Glenn McGregor says the weekend will feature events attendees look forward to every year, including the Threshermen’s Parade and live threshing demonstration, with the addition of some new buildings to the Heritage Village as well.
“We have a few new additions in there this year that we're working on. They're not all going to be ready, but we're definitely working towards getting them there.”
Go! Science rolls into Assiniboia for hands-on fun
The Saskatchewan Science Centre is hitting the road this summer with its exciting Go! Science outreach program, making a special stop at the Assiniboia and District Public Library on Tuesday, August 5th, from 1 to 5 p.m. This free event is open to children ages 6 to 12 and promises four hours of interactive science fun.

Heartland Rec brings summer fun to MacGregor kids
