Truck stolen from Weyburn found in Fillmore; pair charged with firearms offences

Two Fillmore residents are facing charges after a vehicle that was stolen from Weyburn was located with a firearm.

The Weyburn RCMP investigated the report of the stolen vehicle, which allegedly happened between December 4 and 22.

Police found the vehicle at a residence in Fillmore, which contained a firearm.

35-year-old Curtis Armstrong and 32-year-old Cherrena Bryer were arrested at the scene and charged with the following offences:

Woman missing since Christmas Day

Local agencies are asking for help in locating a woman who was last seen at the Children's Hospital in Winnipeg on Christmas Day.

Aboriginal Alert and the Bear Clan Patrol say that Kiersten Allie Pronteau, 22, is 5' 5" tall with a slender build. She has long brown and red hair.

She was wearing white jeans and black Croc-looking booties when she was last seen.
