Police are asking for the public's help in locating a suspect responsible for a serious assault early Saturday at a bus shelter along the Rapid Transit system.
First taste of winter in the forecast for parts of Southern Manitoba
After avoiding a couple of early season storms, it appears that luck is running out for parts of Southern Manitoba beginning Saturday night. A Special Weather Statement has been issued by Environment Canada for the entire southwest corner of the province, as far east as the Pilot Mound and Manitou regions.

Several standouts for Estevan Sharks in season's first water polo tournament
Estevan Sharks water polo athletes hit the water for the first tournament action of the season at the Lawson Aquatic Centre in Regina on the weekend.
Estevan athletes competed against players from Weyburn, Regina, and Saskatoon.
The 15U girls won one of four games on Saturday. Mahlyn Bomberak paced the team with eight goals. Ryan Hoeving scored seven. Marlow Molstad netted two in her first bantam tournament. And Jennika Linthicum scored one.
