Morris School sending 32 graduates into the workforce and post-secondary studies
Morris School is on the verge of celebrating the achievements of 32 senior students at its 2023 commencement ceremony.
The school's grade twelves have chosen Emilie Jashyn and Mikayla Wiebe as co-valedictorians.
"I feel like I am ending a very long chapter in my life," reflects Jashyn. "It felt long, but also at the same time it went by very quickly. I'm just honoured right now."
The graduation event is like saying you've finished a major phase of your life, according to Wiebe.

Today, teachers, family members, and friends will watch 125 students leave behind the halls of Morden Collegiate Institute (MCI) and graduate into the world of post-secondary education, trade school, and the workforce.
As class valedictorian, Student Body president Bijan Salimi says there's a long list of people who helped the Class of 2023 reach this milestone.
