The following alert comes from the Saskatchewan Crime Watch Advisory Network:

The Wadena / Foam Lake RCMP is looking for information regarding a black F-250 regular cab pick-up truck with a white fuel slip tank in the box. 

The truck has no running boards, and the slip tank has a red dangerous goods placard visible. 

The truck was observed in the Margo/Tufnell area early in the morning on April 30. 

The driver was a Caucasian male wearing white running shoes, blue jeans and a black hooded sweatshirt with the hood pulled up. 

The Humboldt Theatre Club is excited to announce their upcoming performance on May 5th, 6th, and 7th. This is a great opportunity to support local talent and enjoy a night out with friends and family. There are evening shows and matinees to choose from.

The show promises to be an entertaining and engaging experience for all. The play is titled "Who dunnit and to whom? A play within a play in two acts" by Robert Frankel.

The upcoming by-election in Regina’s Coronation Park constituency has its New Democratic Party candidate. Small business owner and educator Noor Burki was nominated by NDP members in a contested nomination in the constituency on April 26.

“It is my honour to represent the NDP in this by-election,” said Burki. “As a business owner, educator and father, my dedication is to ensuring the brightest future possible for my children, your children, and everyone in Saskatchewan.” 

Saskatchewan law enforcement was once again focused on the impaired driving problem. In its monthly Traffic Safety Spotlight, SGI notes that police reported 450 impaired driving offences for the month of March including:

·     250 Criminal Code charges 

·     170 administrative roadside licence suspensions to experienced drivers 

·     30 administrative roadside licence suspensions to new drivers

The HCAA Junior badminton pre-district competition is in the books after the second day of competition on Thursday. Athletes from across the Division gathered in various schools to compete for the chance to move on to District competition. Below are the final results for the day 2 matchups. 

There’s more action from the HCAA Badminton scene. Pre-districts for doubles in the junior division are complete. Top two teams are listed in blue and they’ll be going on to further competition in the District round. Here are the results.

The Saskatchewan Government says that the 2023 - 24 provincial budget sees continued investment in First Nation and Métis communities across Saskatchewan. 

The Humboldt Broncos are hosting an online game-worn jersey auction starting May 1 at 10:00 am. 

Photos of the jerseys will be posted in an album on the Humboldt Broncos Facebook page, in which bids can be made by commenting on the jersey you would like. 

Starting bids are a minimum of $300 and the auction will continue until May 15 at 10:00 am. 

More results are in from HCAA pre-district badminton after the completion of the doubles competitions. The top two designated winners from each category for each district will head off to district play.
