The Estevan Police Service detailed a few impaired-driving investigations and a crackdown on illegal parking in releases posted over the weekend.
Police reported stopping and arresting a 43-year-old man on Friday for impaired driving. He was over triple the legal limit. Police held him in custody and released him in the morning .
Police had other calls related to impaired driving Friday:
A call of a possible impaired driver resulted in the driving being found and deemed sober.
An afternoon traffic stop led police to issue a BC driver a three-day license suspension and vehicle seizure after an oral fluid test that was positive for drugs. Blood samples were sent to a lab for testing.
Police arrested a 17-year-old female and charged her with impaired driving during the night shift. She was released to a sober person.
Police also said they attended a residence on the south end of town for a report of an unwanted guest. He left without incident and went to stay with a family member.
Saturday’s police recap said they are investigating two separate reports of harassment. Both are in the early stages.
Police are investigating a Saturday report of mischief to a vehicle in the Affinity Place parking lot.
And police received complaints about parking around the Leisure Centre and Power Dodge Arena. Police left notices of violations with several vehicles for parking in fire lanes and parking spots for people with disabilities.
