Red Sox continue winning ways against 57's

The Regina Red Sox continue to have the Swift Current 57’s number this season.

Regina pushed their perfect record against Swift Current to 5-0 with a 15-7 victory at Currie Field last night.

The Red Sox plated nine runs in the second inning to lead 10-1 and cruise to the victory.

Swift Current’s bats came alive in the ninth inning scoring six runs but the deficit was too much to overcome.

Third baseman Demetrio Archuleta and first baseman Casey Prychak both scored a run while going went 3-for-4 in the loss.

The 57’s will look to rebound tonight at home against the Saskatoon Berries.
