Olds College of Agriculture announced RME - formerly known as Rocky Mountain Equipment - as their 2024 Partner of the Year.
RME has made significant contributions to Olds College by providing students with equipment giving them the opportunity to work with the latest machinery and technology in the agriculture industry.
The research side of Olds also benefits as farm staff and researchers also have access to the equipment as they work the 3,000 acres that make up the Olds College Smart Farm.
Todd Ormann, vice president of development at Olds College says they are thrilled to honor RME as the 2024 Partner of the Year.
"Their dedication to our students and to collaboration in a variety of projects is notable. They have had a profound impact on our students, faculty and the broader agricultural community."
The award which recognizes outstanding contributions to the college and the agriculture industry was made on Tuesday as part of AgSmart - Olds College annual
educational expo.
RME CSOO Jim Wood says RME is pleased to be named the Olds College Partner of the Year.
"Through our donation of equipment and scholarships, our goal has always been to help Olds College in any way possible to educate the future ag and construction industry leaders.”
In addition to providing equipment, RME also provides student scholarships.
