Despite the warmer weather we are into the fall season and a reminder of this is the fact that we are just weeks away from the opening of the Haunted Town of Little Sur-Mer.

For the past eight year's this festive attraction has kept our nightmares fresh while giving back to the community.

Each year brings with it new changes and additions as president of the haunted town Andy Keys details what we can expect this year.

"We will have kind of merchandise. People want to buy t-shirts and they have asked us every year so we will have those for sale and we will have a zombie shoot. That is something different that we will be doing."

Keys explains that some of his paintball boys have volunteered and so if you spend $5 you will receive 20 shots to attempt to get the zombies.

The goblins and ghouls that come together to give you a fright each night do this in the name of charity as Keys details.

"It is all staffed by volunteers. Everybody that you see and experience, none of us are paid we don't have a wage or anything. The Scouts are coming on board this year to do the food in the registration area."

100% of the proceeds from the $20 cost of tickets goes to charity's and last year alone the festive event raised over $24,000.

The bookings of these one-hour tours are now open and reservations can be made by texting 306-992-1503. The first tours will begin on October 11th and 12th.

In addition, Keys adds that they have also added an extra ride to the schedule this year and participants are reminded to arrive early for their adventure as there's lots to see and do.
