Motorists in Red Deer are being advised of a traffic disruption on 50 (Ross) Street until tomorrow (Oct. 25) as crews repair a water leak.
Traffic is detoured along 45 Avenue to 53 Street as 50 Street is closed from 45 Avenue to 47 Avenue.
City crews anticipate opening the section of 50 Street during business hours on tomorrow, but advise drivers to avoid the area if possible and give themselves plenty of time to reach their destination for the next 24 or more hours.
Motorists are advised to obey all signs, follow detour signage, and are reminded to slow down when approaching the area.
