No election in Ponteix this year

There will be no election this year in Ponteix. 

The Town will have no polling stations, mail-in ballots, or remote voting options. This isn't because of any grand conspiracy or government shutdown. 

All but one of the previous town councillors and the Mayor, Kurt Dixon, have been acclaimed for the next term. 

Councillors Els Dudrange, Robert Lisante, Felix Therrian, and Patricia Reid are all back for the next four years. 

The two new members of council are Melvin Boyer and Alana Cunningham, who are replacing Hector Boudreau and Kurt Dixon, the former of which is replacing Ken Flanders as Mayor.
