It has been a successful start to the season for the Swift Current Arts Council and they look to continue entertaining one and all in 2025.
'Helen Arnold from the council provides details on a few of the shows coming up in the new year.
"We have Prairie Sons coming on February 27th, Susan Aglukark on March 24th, Jack Semple coming in April with a tribute to Gordon Lightfoot, Every Brilliant Thing is also in April and that is a theatre presentation.."
2025 will also see mentalist and magician Jeff Semple, the Great Canadian Roadtrip 2.0 featuring Jason McCoy, Chad Brownlee and Jason Blaine as well as Lisa Brokap presenting the Patsy Cline Project and Hank lives.
Arnold adds that the 2025 season will kick off on February 4th with a performance by Steven Lee Olson joined by Jojo Mason.
The Swift Current Arts Council also offers a 3 shows for $99 deal which Arnold says is the most economical way to purchase tickets other than having a subscription. Tickets for all shows are available now at www.ticketpro.ca or by calling 1-888-655-9090.
Arnold speaks on the diversity of their programming for the upcoming year.
"We try to hit all the favorites of all the genres people like to see."
Those attending the Great Canadian Roadtrip performance can also purchase a VIP experience in which they will receive swag, a one on one with the artists and an acoustic show that will happen prior to the performance.
