Travel not recommended on southeast roads as snow picked up by heavy winds

The highway hotline is monitoring conditions around the Southeast, and the current forecast shows that many roads are unsafe for travel.

The forecast shows that the heavy snowfall we received yesterday is being blown around by winds coming from the west at 30 km/h, with gusts expected up to 50 km/h.

Travel is not recommended on a few southeast roads, with a pair being outright closed in the northern section of the area.
