Slippery roads for Cochrane drivers as snow continues to the west

A snowfall warning remains in effect for parts of southern Alberta, including the M.D. of Bighorn, Canmore, Exshaw, Ghost Lake, Kananaskis, and Bragg Creek.

Since Tuesday, snowfall amounts have varied widely, ranging from 5 to 20 cm, with an additional 5 to 10 cm expected today.

This will bring total accumulations between 10 and 30 cm before the snow tapers off later this afternoon.

Drivers are urged to use caution, as visibility may suddenly drop in heavy snow.

In Cochrane, roads are slippery and snow-covered in some sections. 

In Calgary there are multiple incidents on the road this morning as drivers navigate the road conditions.
