Local racing enthusiasts, hobby mechanics, and more are revving up for another season with the Swift Current Stock Car Racing Association.
The 2025 season is sure to bring some adrenaline-packed action, all-new excitement, and passion-fueled dirt track racing.
Terry Fehr, vice president of the Swift Current Stock Car Racing Association, shared that Test and Tune will take place on May 13 for a chance for drivers to bring their cars out on the track for the first time this spring.
"Our Season Opener is on May 31 and our start times are changing this year," he said. "We have Friday nights starting at 8:00 p.m., and Saturdays will be a 6:00 p.m. start.
"Although, on August 23, we will be having a 5:00 p.m. start time because we're teaming up with Swift Current Ag & Ex for a Cowboys and Chrome event."
The Season Opener will include minis, hobbies, and street stocks, and admission is $15 for adults or $5 for children.
Additionally, this year has opened up a new category for children's modified stocks, more information is still to come.
"We hope to see lots of people out this year," Fehr added.
