Another weekend of dirt racing is right over the horizon, and the Swift Current Stock Car Association is gearing up.
The Swift Current Motor Speedway will host the races Friday and Saturday, featuring the complete lineup; the modifieds, minis, streets, and hobby stocks.
Terry Fehr, vice president of the Swift Current Stock Car Association, shared that folks are more than welcome to stop by the pit up to roughly an hour before the races begin to check out the cars and chat with some of the local drivers.
"Friday night we're starting at 8:00 p.m. and Saturday we start at 6:00 p.m.," he said. "It should be a good day."
Admission is $15 per person or $5 for children, and beverages and refreshments are available.
"Just a typical race day for us, we're hoping to see a lot of fans out there and hoping for the support," added Fehr.
