Estevan street has sections closed with work underway

A section of 2nd Street will be closed as crews are hard at work beginning today.

The closure will take place between the 2nd and 5th Avenues as crews work on a sanitary service line replacement.

Work began at 8 a.m. with no forecasted end time for the work.

As that continues, the city asks people to detour around the area and to watch out for any nearby construction workers.

The same goes for the 1200 block of 4th Street, which has one lane open and crews working on the Downtown Revitalization Project.
