Lacombe police are investigating a string of thefts that took place between Sept. 12 and Sept. 15 during the evening and overnight hours.

The incidents under investigation include:

  • Sept. 12–13: Theft of tires and rims from a truck at Lacombe Ford. The property is valued at more than $8,000. CCTV footage has been reviewed, and the investigation is ongoing.

  • Sept. 13–14: Theft of a battery from a holiday trailer in the 4500 block of 45 Street.

  • Sept. 14–15: Theft of copper pipe from Pro Water Conditioning at 4920 Highway 2A.

  • Sept. 14–15: Theft of copper wire from the back of a truck in the industrial area.

Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed suspicious activity, or who may have CCTV footage from the affected areas during those dates and times, to contact the Lacombe Police Service.

The service is also reminding residents and businesses to remain vigilant and to report suspicious activity immediately.
