Two situations the Estevan Police Service dealt with on Thursday included intoxication, while another involved a woman making numerous unwarranted 911 calls.

Police say they arrested a 38-year-old man after he left an establishment on the northeast side of the city. His breath samples were reportedly three times the legal limit. He was released once he sobered up.

Police also arrested a male for being intoxicated in public. They were concerned he was going to drive, and decided to lodge him until he was sober after not being able to find him a place to stay.

And a 42-year-old woman was arrested for public mischief after reporting false information to police. Police said she's also charged with assaulting a police officer and committing an indecent act. And she is being charged under the 911 Systems Act for placing false reports to 911 dispatch.  Police say she called 911 at least 11 times during the night, and that none of the calls were for police, fire, or medical emergencies.
