I Love to Read Month with the grade 2's at Miami School

CFAM Radio 950 Morning Show Host Chris Sumner was at Morris School Wednesday for an I Love to Read stop with the Grade 1/2 classes there. Jayden from Friesens Yearbook division joined him for the fun, and of course shared our featured book “Fishing With Grandma” by Maren Vsetula and Susan Avingaq, illustrated by Charlene Chua and published by Inhabit Media.
The book was a big hit, because a lot of the students had gone ice fishing or "Summer" fishing with their families. That was before they found out they each would be taking a copy home with them for being awesome listeners.

Grade two and three students at Parkland Elementary School in Winkler gathered in the school's library Tuesday for a special storytime.

Maple Leaf Elementary School in Morden loves to read
Pembina Valley Online Reporter Robyn Wiebe and Miss Darlene Klassen from Friesens Corporation were in Morden at Maple Leaf Elementary School on Thursday.
Grade two students were really excited to hear the book each one of them was going to take home with them at the end of the day called, "Fishing with Grandma."

CFAM Radio 950 Morning Show Host Chris Sumner made his first I Love to Read Month visit Tuesday morning to Rosenfeld School, spending time with the Grade 2/3 class there. Ryan Hildebrand from Friesens joined the fun, and read the book “Fishing With Grandma” which every student received a copy of afterward.
