A Christian instructor with Millar College of the Bible is taking notes from his students and pursuing his musical passion through a new hip-hop album.
"I have the title of registrar and instructor [with Millar College of the Bible]," says Nick Betzing. "I handle the ins and outs of student's proceeding to graduate. As an instructor, I teach various theology and Bible courses."
On top of teaching Biblical studies, Betzing is releasing a full-length album called The Dawn on June 21.

Winnipeg Christian artist and worship leader, Carine Bado, is releasing her first single after a year and a half, with a powerful, underlying story behind it.
"'A Blessing in the Making' is a song I started writing just a few days after the passing of my mom," says Bado. "I went to the Ivory Coast last year for my goodbyes. During the almost 20-hour flight back, the song came into my head with an upbeat tempo."
Bado was unable to get to her mother before she passed away from cancer, but she was able to be with family for the funeral on the West Coast of Africa.

Manitoba to close wildfire evacuation centres as some communities return home
Some wildfire evacuees staying at a shelter in northern Manitoba may be moved elsewhere as more communities return home and the government closes temporary evacuation centres.
Transportation and Infrastructure Minister Lisa Naylor said roughly 114 people have been staying at the shelter in Thompson for the past three weeks due to a shortage of hotel spaces.
"Folks have been there a really long time, and that was never the intention," Naylor told a wildfire briefing Thursday.
Police, rescuers respond as rock slide hits hikers in Banff; injuries undetermined
Rescue crews, police and paramedics scrambled to a remote region of Banff National Park late Thursday amid reports that a group of hikers were hit by a rock slide, causing possible injuries and deaths.
“The initial report indicated there were multiple hikers and there may be serious injuries and/or fatalities,” RCMP Cpl. Gina Slaney said in a news release.
Parks Canada, in a statement said, it is responding to a report of "a serious rockfall incident with involvement near Bow Glacier Falls in Banff National Park."
9-year-old Thompson girl robbed
A 22-year-old female has been remanded in custody after robbing a 9-year-old girl in Thompson on Wednesday afternoon.
At 4 p.m. on June 18, Thompson RCMP were advised that an adult female had asked the 9-year-old for the bag of food she was carrying while on her bicycle.
A bystander witnessed the incident and chased the suspect away before bringing the child to safety.
Both the witness and victim provided an accurate description of the suspect to police. Officers located the suspect and arrested her.
