The People's Party of Canada no longer has a candidate in Swift Current-Grasslands-Kindersley.
Terry Sieben had been listed on their website as their candidate for the new riding in the current federal election.
His profile was removed from the PPC website this week.
"Terry Sieben stepped down due to health issues and regrets being unable to run," said a PPC spokesperson in an e-mail to Swift Current Online on Thursday afternoon.
Sieben ran for the PPC in the riding of Battlefords-Lloydminster during the 2021 federal election.

Patzer thinks Conservatives helped eliminate consumer carbon tax
The Conservative Party of Canada candidate for Swift Current-Grasslands-Kindersley riding believes his party played a role in pushing the federal government's removal of the consumer carbon tax on Monday.
"If it wasn't for Conservatives pushing on the government, it never would have happened," Jeremy Patzer said. "Currently, the Liberals have set it to zero, but they haven't actually scrapped policy, so there's nothing preventing Mark Carney jumping that price back up after the election is over."

It’s day 13 of the federal election campaign, and all the major parties have officially announced their candidates for the Bow River riding.
The Conservative Party of Canada is running Vulcan County farmer David Bexte.
Bexte won the Conservative nomination earlier this year, defeating three other candidates in the race.
This is not Bexte’s first time running for office. He previously sought a seat on Vulcan County Council but lost.
