Health care advocates say they're worried the Liberal government will backtrack on its promise to create a universal, single-payer pharmacare program.
Frédérique Chabot, executive director of Action Canada for Sexual Health and Rights, said conversations with government officials lead her to believe Ottawa is "seriously considering" a different approach that would instead provide coverage to people without private insurance.
Understanding and Calculating Price Slide
As we enter the full swing of the fall run in Western Canada, beef cattle producers need to think about the right time to sell their calves while also considering the different marketing avenues, whether it's online, an auction mart, or direct from the ranch.
On top of these decisions, producers should fully understand certain terms to avoid potential income loss.
Because cow-calf producers usually only sell calves once a year, these terms can fall out of memory and should be reviewed.
One important term for many producers is price slide.

You can pick up a stamp at a post office or, more easily, go online through Environment Canada’s website, fill out the PDF form, purchase the tag, and get a virtual stamp emailed right to you,” said Moose Jaw Wildlife Federation president Todd Smith.
