1935 ~ 2025 (age 89)
Ivy Christina Hogg ( Byman) was born June 17, 1935, in Wadena Saskatchewan to Edward and Ruth Byman. Except for a year in British Columbia, she grew up on the farm with siblings Phyllis, Myrna and Brian. After graduating high school, she attended Normal School in Saskatoon to become a teacher. Her first job was at Jellico, Saskatchewan in 1955 where she met Jackie Hogg. They married in 1956 and started life on the farm raising three kids, David, Billy and Lynne.

He passed away peacefully on March 26th, 2025, surrounded by loved ones, at the Herbert and District Integrated Health Facility.

Getruda Loewen, 75, of Lowe farm formerly of Mexico, passed away Saturday, March 30th at Altona Memorial Health Centre. She is survived by her husband Wilhelm Loewen Penner, 2 sons, 2 sisters and their families. She was predeceased by 2 grandchildren,1 sister and 2 brothers.
The funeral service for Getruda Loewen will be held Thursday, April 3rd at 2pm at Reinland Mennonite Church, Altona with burial at Schoenthal Cemetery.

Helen Loise Desjarlais passed away on March 26th, 2025, surrounded by her family in the Kindersley Hospital.
Helen is survived by her husband Joseph Desjarlais as well as her three children Jesse, Joe-el and Charles Desjarlais.
She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren Asheni, Mahala, Chaska, Ashki, Lucca, Theodore, Mila, and Isaiah Desjarlais.
Helen was a loving mother, wife, sister, auntie and a friend. She will be deeply missed by many.

Milton Ardeen Tweten passed away on March 19, 2025, at the age of 98. He was born to Oscar and Myrtle Tweten, the oldest son and brother to Joyce, Gerald and Inez. Mel worked from a young age for Burns and then Intercontinental Meat Packing Plant, where his ingenious insight into factory function and his innate ability for blueprint creation was utilized.
