Funeral Date: September 12, 2024 
Katharina “Tina” Plett, 83, of Arborg passed away Thursday, September 5th at Health Sciences Centre. She is survived by 5 daughters, 4 sons, 2 sisters and their families. She was predeceased by her husband Ronald, 1 brother, and 1 grandchild. 
The funeral service for Katharina “Tina” Plett will be held Thursday, September 12th at 2pm at Morweeena EMC, Arborg with burial at Lake Centre Cemetery. 

Memorial For: Dianna White 
Memorial Date: September 15, 2024 
Dianna White, 76, of Steinbach passed away Thursday, August 29th at Dryden Regional Health Center. She is survived by her husband Allan, 2 sons, 1 brother, 1 sister and their families. She was predeceased by her parents Ben and Edna Martens and 1 brother.  
A memorial service for Dianna White will be held Sunday, September 15th at 2pm at Birchwood Funeral Chapel.

Funeral For:  Barbie “Auntie B” Lischynski 
Funeral Date: September 12, 2024 
Barbie “Auntie B” Lischynski, 60, of Dominion City formerly of Rosa, passed away Tuesday, September 3rd at Altona Hospital. She is survived by her husband Melvin, her mother Nellie, 1 sister and her family. She was predeceased by her father and 1 sister in infancy. 
A Catholic prayer service followed by a celebration of life for Barbie “Auntie B” Lischynski will be held Thursday, September 12th at 11am at Birchwood Funeral Chapel with ash interment at Rosa Cemetery. 

 Funeral For:  John Driedger 
Funeral Date: September 12, 2024 
John Driedger, 83, of Winnipeg passed away Wednesday, September 4th at Concordia Hospital. He is survived by his wife Evelina, 1 daughter, 2 sons, 4 sisters, 1 brother, and their families. He was predeceased by 2 brothers. 
The funeral service for John Driedger will be held Thursday, September 12th at 11am at Albright Church, 415 Maxwell King Drive, East St. Paul with burial at Green Acres Cemetery. 
Viewing will be at the church prior to the service. 

Funeral For: Bill Schroeder 
Funeral Date: September 10, 2024 
Bill Schroeder, 92, of Altona formerly of Halbstadt passed away Friday, September 6th at Altona Memorial Health Centre. He is survived by 3 daughters and their families. He was predeceased by his wife Betty Schroeder. 
A celebration of life for Bill Schroeder will be held Tuesday, 2pm at Altona Sommerfeld Mennonite Church with Burial prior to the service, 1pm at the Altona Cemetery. 
Viewing will be at Wiebe Funeral Home, Altona, Monday from 1-6pm. 

Memorial For: Elizabeth (Betty) Unrau (nee Kroeker) 
Memorial Date: September 10, 2024 
Elizabeth (Betty) Unrau (nee Kroeker), 92, of Steinbach formerly of Winkler, passed away Thursday, September 5th at Rest Haven Personal Care. She is survived by 4 daughters, 2 sons and their families. She was predeceased by her husband John and daughter Elaine.  
A memorial service for Elizabeth (Betty) Unrau (nee Kroeker) will be held Tuesday, September 10th at 2pm at Winkler EMMC with burial prior to the service at 11am at Rose Farm Cemetery. 

A memorial service for Hartley Hastings, age 95 years, of Warman, SK (formerly of Weyburn) will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at 2:00 pm from the Warman Mennonite Church 112-6th Ave. N. Warman, SK. 

Interment will follow at a later date in Green Acres Memorial Gardens, Weyburn, SK.

Daniel Henry Schmitz
April 2, 1954 – September 4, 2024

It is with profound sadness that the family of Josip Skender announces his peaceful passing, on August 26, 2024, at the age of 92 years.

Joe will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 60 years, Dianne; and their children Lori (Ron) Whelan, Darryl (Shannon) Skender, and Marci (Mike) Sheward; 10 grandchildren (Tia, Erica, Liam, Garrett, Ivy, Dayne, Logan, Brynn, Will and Joey) and 3 great-grandchildren (Levi, Saskia and Mabel) as well as lifelong friends Jim Banman and Jim Gough.

Evelyn Boire
1940 - 2024

Evelyn Ann Boire passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family, on September 1, 2024 at the age of 84.

A Memorial Service will be held in Evelyn's honour, on Monday, September 9, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Faith Lutheran Church, Lampman, Sask. with Rev. Sharon Kane officiating. Please join the family for a time of lunch and fellowship at the Royal Canadian Legion in Lampman immediately following the service. Inurnment in the Columbarium at the Estevan City Cemetery will take place at a later date.
