Funeral For:  Annie Kehler nee Thiessen 
Funeral Date: April 8, 2025 
Annie Kehler nee Thiessen, 76, of Winnipeg passed away Sunday, March 23rd at St. Boniface Hospital. She is survived by her husband John, 2 daughters, 1 son, 1 sister, 2 brothers, and their families. She was predeceased by 2 sisters and 4 brothers. 
The celebration of life for Annie Kehler nee Thiessen will be held Tuesday, April 8th at 11am at Springfield Heights Mennonite Church, 570 Sharron Bay, with burial at Sage Creek Cemetery (Mennonite Memorial Gardens). 

Sherry Lynn Hollinger – passed away peacefully with her family by her side at the Cypress Regional Hospital on March 31st, 2025, at the age of 77.

A celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 PM on May 3rd, 2025, at Parkside Memorial Funeral Home (69 4th Ave NE) in Swift Current.

Funeral For:  Mildred Weiss nee Steinert 
Funeral Date: Private at a later date 
Mildred Weiss nee Steinert, 92, of Emerson formerly of Ridgeville, passed away Wednesday, April 2nd at Altona Memorial Health Centre. She is survived by 1 son, 1 brother, and their families. She was predeceased by her husband Richard.  
A private graveside service will be held at a later date with ash interment at Friedensthal Cemetery. 
Donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.

We are saddened to announce the passing of our mom, Betty Lou (nee Shook) (Armstrong) Smith of Swift Current on March 30, 2025 at the age of 96.

Betty Lou is survived by her daughter Shanon (Ron Kesslar) of Medicine Hat, son Bob (Sharon Lang) of Swift Current, daughter-in-law Angela Armstrong of Regina, step-daughter-in-law Carol Moen of Swift Current, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Betty Lou was predeceased by husband, Les Armstrong in 1982, son Jim Armstrong in 2003, step-daughter Colleen Smith in 2011, husband Jerry Smith in 2019, and step-son Gord Smith in 2023.

Funeral For:  John Funk 
Funeral Date: April 5, 2025 
John Funk, 81, of Grunthal passed away Tuesday, April 1st at Bethesda Regional Health Centre. He is survived by his wife Anne, 1 daughter, 2 sons, and their families.  
A memorial service for John Funk will be held Saturday, April 5th at 4pm at Birchwood Funeral Chapel with private family burial at Grunthal Cemetery.

Boyd Leslie Henderson
June 22, 1940 – April 1, 2025

Dennis was born December 4, 1942 in Swift Current to Wilhelm and Irma Roosen. He attended school at Stone Cliff, Golden Sheath, Kemmel Hill and Gull Lake. At age 16 he went to work for Ashphalt Services Ltd. of Saskatoon. In 1975, along with 3 partners, they bought the Swift Current branch and changed the name to Mobile Paving Ltd. Dennis retired in 2009 after 50 years. On February 18, 1967 he married the love of his life Linda (Sue) Peterson. Their daughter Rhonda was born in 1969, and their son Ryan was born in 1973.

1944 ~ 2025 (age 80)

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Elsie Elizabeth Graff, who passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, at the age of 91 years on Friday, March 28th, 2025. 

Elsie was born on November 25th, 1933, in Blue Wing, Manitoba.  She married her husband Fred on October 3rd, 1953, and together they moved to Moose Jaw, SK to start their life journey.  Elsie worked various jobs until her retirement.  After retirement, her and Fred would load up their camper van and hit the road.  Elsie was a long-time member of the Emmanuel Lutheran Church.
