Orris William Mikuliak passed away peacefully at the Dr. F.H. Wigmore Regional Hospital in Moose Jaw, SK, on Monday, July 21st, 2025, at the age of 85 years.

Funeral Date: July 28, 2025 
Mary Penner nee Hiebert, 84, of Morden formerly of Roseisle, passed away Sunday, July 20th at Tabor Home. She is survived by 2 daughters, 2 sons, 9 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband George W. Penner and 1 daughter. 
The celebration of life for Mary Penner nee Hiebert will be held Monday, July 28th at 11am at Morden Gospel Mission Church with burial at Southside Cemetery.

Funeral Date: July 24, 2025 
Cathy Thiessen, 85, of Steinbach passed away Sunday, July 20th at Rest Haven Care Home. She is survived by 6 sisters, 6 brothers, 10 in-laws, and their families. She was predeceased by 2 sisters, and 3 brothers-in-law. 
A memorial service for Cathy Thiessen will be held Thursday, July 24th at 2pm at Birchwood Funeral Chapel with burial at Blumenort Community Church Cemetery.

Funeral For: Alvin Hein
Funeral Date: July 26, 2025 
Alvin Hein, 89, of Winnipeg passed away Saturday, July 19th at St. Boniface Hospital. He is survived by his wife Elma, son Mark, 2 sisters-in-law, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by 2 sisters, 2 brothers, and 2 brothers-in-law. 
The celebration of life for Alvin Hein will be held Saturday, July 26th at 2pm at Thomson in the Park Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Boulevard, with burial at Thomson in the Park Cemetery.  
Viewing will be at the chapel one hour prior to the service. 

Phyllis Yvonne Weimer, late of Weyburn, SK passed away peacefully on July 21, 2025 at the age of 89 years.

She was predeceased by her mother and father, Alberta and Anton Bernard; sisters, Bernice Bernard, Beatrice Bernard, Alma Zastrow and Margaret Herberholz; brothers, Willard Bernard, John “Jack” Bernard; sisters-in-law, Ruth Bernard and Joyce Bernard; brothers-in-law, Robbie Zastrow and Nick Herberholz.

Paulette Block, late of Weyburn, SK passed away on July 21, 2025 at the age of 73 years.

She was predeceased by her parents, John and Juliette Lindstrom; in-laws, May and Otto Block; aunt and uncle, Erna and Joe Wanner.

Paulette is survived by her husband of 51 years, Allan Block of Weyburn, SK; son, Curtis (Shauna) Block of Weyburn, SK and their sons [Carter, Tyler]; daughter, Sandra (Curtis) Popescu of Weyburn, SK and their children [Lily, Daisy, Oakley]; and special cousin, Larry Pearson.

With heavy hearts, but thankfulness for a life well lived, the family wishes to announce that Delbert Messer passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Estevan, SK on Saturday, July 19, 2025 at the age of 90 years.

August 11, 1950 – July 20, 2025

Jeffery Wayne Greening, late of Weyburn, SK passed away on July 19, 2025 at the age of 71 years.

He was predeceased by his parents, Benjamin and Jewel (nee: Lynam) Greening; sister, Sharon Marie Ables (nee: Greening); and nephew, Carry James “Butch” Ables.

Mary Loewen nee Thiessen, 94, of Neepawa formerly of Blumenort, passed away Sunday, July 20th at Country Meadows Personal Care Home, Neepawa. She is survived by many in the Loewen and Thiessen families. She was predeceased by her husband Cornelius.  
The funeral service for Mary Loewen nee Thiessen will be held Thursday, July 24th at 2pm at First Baptist Church, Neepawa with burial at Rosedale Cemetery. 
Viewing will be at the church Wednesday, July 23rd from 7 to 8:30pm.
