Nettie Neufeld, 99, of Winnipeg passed away Wednesday, May 21st at Bethania Personal Care Home. She is survived by 4 children, 13 grandchildren, and 23 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband George. 
The funeral service for Nettie Neufeld will be held Wednesday, May 28th at 11am at Springfield Heights Mennonite Church, 570 Sharron Bay. 
Viewing will be at the church one hour prior to the service.

Lina Dyck, 95, of Winnipeg formerly of Friedensfeld, Zagradovka, Ukraine passed away Tuesday, May 20th at Bethania Mennonite Personal Care Home. She is survived by her sister Elsa von Kampen, many nieces and nephews and their families. 
The funeral service for Lina Dyck will be held Tuesday, May 27th at 11am at Friends Funeral Service, 2146 Main Street. 
Viewing will be at the chapel prior to the service. 
Donations may be made to Mennonite Central Committee.

Walter McTavish, 84, of Miami passed away Tuesday, May 20th at Health Sciences Centre. He is survived by his wife Bev Williment, 1 daughter, 1 son, 1 sister, 1 brother, and their families. He was predeceased by his first wife Dean McTavish. 
The funeral service for Walter McTavish will be held Saturday, June 7th at 2pm at Miami Event Centre with ash interment at Miami Cemetery.

Moar, Donna Marie

Donna Marie Moar - February 17, 1948 – April 29, 2025

It is with deep sorrow and anguish that I announce the passing of Donna Marie Moar on April 29, 2025, at the age of 77 years.

Donna was predeceased by her parents, Allan and Lottie Ireland; her nephews, Robert Todd Devitt and Camryn Sutherland-Tripp.

Catharine English

The family are saddened to announce the passing of Catharine English, May 20 at the age of 92.  Cathy is predeceased by her husband Doug. Over the years they made their home in the Hearne/Briercrest areas and in Avonlea before retiring to Moose Jaw. 

She is survived by her three children Doug English (Angie), Pat (Julian Chinski) and Laurie (Guy Renaud); seven grandchildren and their spouses; 15 great grandchildren; and two brothers. As well as numerous nieces and nephews.

James “Jim” Clifford Spenst
1926 – 2025

With sadness, and gratitude for a full and memorable life, Jim Spenst’s family announces his passing in Toronto, ON, surrounded by the love of his family, on May 7, 2025, aged 99.

A service to celebrate Jim’s life will be held on Friday, June 27, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion in Estevan. A luncheon will follow, after which a family interment will take place at the Estevan City Cemetery.

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Dean Earl Guest on May 16, 2025, in Calgary, Alberta, at the age of 68.

A Memorial Service for Dean will be held at Prairie Place Complex, Arcola, Saskatchewan on Monday, May 26, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. with Sandy Dalziel officiating. Interment will follow at the Arcola Cemetery, after which all are invited to join Dean's family for lunch and a time of visiting and remembrance at Prairie Place Complex.

After nearly a century of love, laughter, and legacy, William “Bill” Jeffries peacefully passed away on May 16, 2025 at Cypress Regional Hospital with family by his side.
