Update: Power was restored at 2:50 AM
Manitoba Hydro is reporting that a power outage began at 1:41 AM in Steinbach.
Lights went out along Main Street, towards Loewen Boulevard and Hespeler. Bethesda Hospital was also without power and running on generators.
Manitoba Hydro is reporting that service to the nearly one thousand customers affected would be restored by 5:00 AM Wednesday.
