This year’s Hanover Ag Fair is set to be the best one yet! The committee has been hard at work for months now, putting together an event that’s been drawing fans of all ages for years, with some traveling from far and wide to take in bull riding, the mud bog, arm wrestling, Manitoba's Strongest Man competitions, heritage attractions, art, and music.

Local companies thrilled to take part in this year’s Winnipeg Fringe Festival

The Winnipeg Fringe Festival kicks off this Wednesday and a number of local companies will be representing the Southeast.  

The 12-day festival includes plenty of theatre, improv, magic shows, and much, much more.  

Brett Oddly is an escape artist and stunt performer who lives in Blumenort. His show “This Calls for Danger” is in this year’s Winnipeg Fringe Festival.

Jumping, tumbling, & balancing fun in store this summer at Tamarack Gymnastics

They are pirates, explorers, wranglers and farmers. Sometimes they play under the sea or in a winter wonderland. But they’re also among the more than 500 campers and athletes so far signed up for programming this year at Tamarack Gymnastics. 

As co-founder Amanda Pierson explains, Tamarack has been operating summer camps since 2021, and the 2023 season will run from July 3rd thru the end of August. What’s new this year, and launched by popular demand, is half-day programs and pre-school camps.
