Souris Family Pharmacy in Estevan is one of 27 pharmacies selected to offer ear infection assessments, while New Hope Pharmacy in Stoughton is among 11 pharmacies chosen to conduct strep throat and ear infection testing.
McGillivray in the Morning Moments
Once again, my slogan is "If you don't go, you can't show". I was out for a moose cruise when I came across these two boys roughing it up. At first it was just playing around and then separate and do it again. But after about 20 minutes things started getting a little more serious. The amount of ground that gets covered when a couple bulls decide to get at it is amazing. These two bulls were all over the place, back and forth, round and round, kicking up a little snow and making the clunking noise as their antlers banged together.

Saskatchewan premier says broad counter-tariffs not in Canada's best interest
Saskatchewan Premier Scott Moe says he’s not straying from the Team Canada approach in responding to looming tariff threats from U.S. President Donald Trump.
Moe and other premiers met virtually with the prime minister to discuss Trump's threat to slap 25 per cent tariffs on Canadian goods by Feb. 1, in response to concerns including border security.
Moe says he’s all for pushing back against the tariffs, if Trump follows through.
But the premier says he doesn’t want to see dollar-for-dollar counter-tariffs that would hurt Canadians and industry.

Canada's financial intelligence agency suspects online gambling platforms are being used to launder proceeds from fentanyl dealing and production.

Poilievre says he wants to cut the federal public service, doesn't mind remote work
Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre says a government led by him would cut the number of federal public servants — but he doesn't mind if they work from home.
When asked by Radio-Canada on Tuesday if U.S. President Donald Trump’s executive order sending federal workers back to the office five days a week is a good idea, Poilievre said that what matters is whether or not public servants do the work.
He said that work is not getting done now within the federal government, though he fell short of going into detail about public servants' productivity.
Hannah’s Grade 1/2 Class at Hillcrest School Celebrates January Classroom of the Month
For our January Classroom of the Month delivery, we had the pleasure of visiting Hillcrest School. Hannah’s name was drawn, earning her and Mrs. Sydiaha’s Grade 1/2 class a delicious feast from KFC Estevan and treats from the Southern Plains Co-op.
It was a bitterly cold day outside, but the students’ warmth and enthusiasm made the visit unforgettable. We chatted about their favourite activities to enjoy on chilly winter days, with plenty of creative and cozy ideas shared by the class.
