It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Catherine at the Estevan Regional Nursing Home on Monday, November 25, 2024 at the age of 100 years.
At long last the suffering is over; her journey is done. Rest easy kind lady.
At Catherine’s request there will be no funeral or memorial service. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Catherine’s life will take place at later date with immediate family.

With gratitude for a life well lived, the family wishes to announce that Frank Faber, late of Carlyle, SK passed away at the Arcola Health Centre on Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at the age of 84 years.
Cremation has taken place and a Private Family Interment will be held in the Spring of 2025.
A snowy celebration with St. Mary's grade 1 class!
We had a blast at St. Mary's School as we visited Mrs. Dosch's Grade 1 class to celebrate their Classroom of the Month win, thanks to their classmate Summer, whose name was drawn! The students were full of energy, sharing their favourite snowy day activities and even singing us a song. Everyone enjoyed a delicious KFC Estevan meal and tasty treats from the Southern Plains Co-op. It was a fun-filled day of laughter, good food, and great company!

Busy times for Estevan Minor Hockey
Parents raising kids who love to play hockey know the costs involved each year. Estevan Minor Hockey has a Progressive Lottery underway as a fundraiser to help keep those costs down. When winter bites: Preventing frostbite amid cold snap
A cold snap is expected to bring in temperatures between minus 20 and minus 30 degrees with the potential risk of frostbite. Dr. Stanley Enebeli with the Saskatchewan Health Authority says frostbite is a risk any time cold weather conditions exist. He explains frostbite is an injury that leads to the loss of colour and feeling in extremities due to freezing temperatures.
