U.S. President Donald Trump said Canada will pay a "financial price" after vowing Tuesday to double the tariff on Canadian steel and aluminum imports in response to Ontario's surcharge on electricity exports to the United States.
"They will pay a financial price for this so big that it will be read about in History Books for many years to come!" Trump posted on social media.

Brown placed his bid on Mar. 10 at the Strathmore Municipal Building and said he hopes to bring a new face to town council.

The program takes place on May 3 and 4. The first day will focus on conditioning, while the second day is a scrimmage.
The camp will take place at the Strathmore Family Centre, with registration costing $200 per player.
Strathmore Soccer Association U-13 girls team celebrate undefeated season
It was a successful weekend for the U-13 Sage girls' team with the Strathmore Soccer Association (SSA).
They were given trophies on Sunday, March 9 after recording an undefeated season.
According to staff with the group, the SSA is part of the Calgary Minor Soccer Association.
Laura Taylor, a parent with the club said it's been an exciting season.
"Many of the girls have played together for over two and a half years. They have really gelled and worked hard with practices."
One person dead, three others injured following collision near Strathmore
One person is dead, and three others are seriously injured following a head-on collision near Strathmore.
On Sunday, March 9, a Honda CRV and a Land Rover collided on Range Road 285 by Township Road 245.
Cpl. Troy Savinkoff, acting media relations manager with Alberta RCMP said crews are still looking into the cause of the crash.
"We're still investigating the intricacies, who went into who's lane, and so forth."
Police were on the scene of the crash for several hours and additional details are expected to be provided on Tuesday.

According to the school, the awards are designed for students involved in school activities and volunteer opportunities in the community.
David Bexte wins conservative MP nomination for Bow River
David Bexte is the new conservative candidate for MP in the Bow River riding.
Members of the Conservative Party of Canada met in Strathmore on Friday, Mar. 7, to vote between Bexte, JL DeCosta, Josh Senneker, and Graham Abela.
All four candidates were given a few minutes before voting to reiterate their values, beliefs, and plans for if they became the new MP.
