Playoff lacrosse is coming back to Saskatchewan!
Austin Shanks scored six goals and Frank Scigliano made 30 saves as the Saskatchewan Rush defeated the Colorado Mammoth 17-12 Saturday night in Saskatoon.
The win was one of the final pieces put in place for the Rush to clinch a home playoff berth. Rush broadcaster Cody Janzen says having home-floor advantage is crucial.

Strathmore Silver Sharks raise thousands through Swim-A-Thon
The Strathmore Silver Sharks Swim Club raised more than $5,000 through its annual Swim-A-Thon fundraiser.
The event took place on Wednesday, Apr. 2, during the club's regular practice. The group had set a goal of $10,000, which would go towards funding equipment, coaching, and pool time.
More than 35 members participated in the fundraiser, with many of them reaching their personal goals, which ranged between $100 and $500.
As of Wednesday afternoon, the group has raised $5,115 as of Wednesday afternoon.

Stop by the Town N Country Mall April 26 and watch them race their Beaver Buggys, Cub Cars, and Scout Semis down the track.
This is the first time their annual rally will be open to the public. You’re invited to check out the hand-made vehicles, enjoy some snacks at the concession, and you will also have the opportunity to try racing some of the cars yourself.
